Winter Reading Challenge: Read Around the World! (All Ages!)

December 1st, 2024-February 15th, 2025

From December 1st to February 15th, read around the world with us! For every page read, you'll "travel" 100 miles, unlocking special location badges every 25 pages! Every badge earned will also enter you into a drawing for a chance to win various fun prizes. Complete the 250-page challenge and earn a finisher prize: a soft and warm library beanie! 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten: (for birth through 5)

Molalla Library offers a 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program! Encourage a love of reading in your child at a young age. This program has been embraced at libraries across the nation, and we are excited to bring it to you! Sign-up online or through the Beanstack app and begin reading and logging your books! We have a special book bag with goodies waiting for you to come pick-up at the library at your convenience, but you can get started reading right away.

Beanstack is Molalla Library's web-based and app-based Reading Challenge software. It allows you to track your reading by minutes or books and participate in fun activities!
