The eCard will allow you to place 3 physical items from the library on hold. Once they arrive at the Molalla Library, you will be notified. Bring a photo id and proof of current address to the library and your eCard will be converted to a regular LINCC Card.

                                                                 ______________

During hours of normal operations, all persons may use the library facility, attend free programs, use library materials on the premises, and request assistance from library staff. As a participant in the Library District of Clackamas County, any current resident of Clackamas County meeting the residency requirements is eligible for a card, including the employees of the City of Molalla, as are residents of Multnomah County, Washington County, the Hood River County Library District, and Camas and the Fort Vancouver Library District (MIX). The first card issued is free. There is a fee for replacement cards. This card is accepted in all public libraries within the Library District. Materials may be checked out at any library in the district and returned to any library in the district.

Cards may be issued to patrons not residing in the county for $95.00 a year or as part of the Oregon Library Passport Program (limited borrowing privileges).

Obtaining a Full Access card:
In order to obtain a library card an individual must present at least one piece of picture ID with their current address (ODL or Identification Card is best). Picture ID without the current address plus business mail or other official documents showing a current address may be accepted as well.

You must sign and complete a library card application form. If under 14 years of age, the card application must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.

There are different types of cards and privileges available. Just call or visit any of the LINCC  Libraries to see which card would be the best fit for you.  Happy Reading.

CARD HOLDER RESPONSIBILITIES

Library use is a privilege and not a right. The library reserves the right to refuse service to individuals who violate the library code of conduct or who have cumulated fines or other charges totaling $25.00 or more. Please note that email notices will be sent to the email address on file or phone calls made to the phone number given and/or written notices sent to the address on file as necessary.

The purpose of a library fine is to encourage the prompt return of library materials in order that others in the community may use them. Fees may be paid by cash, check, or credit card (over $5.00).

By signing the application for a library card either for oneself or a minor for whom the individual is a parent or legal guardian, the individual agrees to:

  • Present their library card to check out materials, pay for fines or other fees, make changes to their account, e.g. address, phone number, name.
  • Adhere to the due date for returning materials charged to their card.
  • Pay all fines, replacement cost and associated fees for overdue, lost or damaged materials charged to their card.
  • Promptly report the loss of their card. The card owner is responsible for any and all materials charged to their card up until the time it is reported missing.
  • Pay the full replacement cost for any material claimed returned that has not been located within one calendar year of the original report.
