Status Change to Level 1
FIRE DANGER FOR THE CITY OF MOLALLA HAS BEEN LOWERED TO LEVEL-1 EVACUATION STATUS
ATTENTION: Effective immediately Wednesday, September 16th, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is reducing the evacuation level from Level 2 (Be Set) to LEVEL-1 (Be Ready) for the City of Molalla and areas North and southwest of the City. Please see the evacuation zones map at www.clackamas.us/wildfires
With a change to Level-1 Evacuation status, you should be ready for potential evacuation. You should be aware of the danger that exists in the area, monitor emergency services websites and local media outlets for information. This is the time for preparation and precautionary movements of persons with special needs, mobile property and (under certain circumstances) pets and livestock. If conditions worsen, emergency services personnel may contact you via an emergency notification system.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT ALTHOUGH THE DANGER LEVEL HAS BEEN LOWERED, THESE FIRES ARE NOT FULLY CONTAINED COMPLETELY.
