Job Opening - Planning Director

Salary Range:  $92,823-$105,072 Depending on Qualifications.

The City of Molalla provides current and long-range planning and code enforcement to a community of approximately 10,000 residents.  Molalla is a growing small community that benefits from being on the edge of the Portland Metro Area but is able to maintain its small-town feel.  Molalla staff takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and in the promotion of high-quality design and development.

Position Summary:  The Planning Director works independently under the direction of the City Manager and performs technical and professional land use, economic and parks planning work, including current and long-range planning, ministerial approvals, implementation of the City's Comprehensive Plan and recently updated Development Code.  This position will also make presentations of projects and economic development tasks.
