Utility Applications
The first steps to receiving water and/or sewer services from the City of Molalla are to download and fill out the appropriate form(s) found at the bottom of this page. Then deliver it to City Hall, along with photo identification, $100 deposit and documents showing proof of ownership (such as a closing statement from the title company).
Molalla Municipal Code 13.04.070 requires a written application for water service. All applications shall include signature of person/persons responsible for the bill at the requested address, a current address where all bills shall be sent, and additional data to secure any accrued water/sewer debts.
Molalla Municipal Code 13.04.200 and 13.08.360 require a deposit and establishment of credit. This deposit shall not be applied to water/sewer bills as payment. The deposit is refundable upon termination of service and can be applied at that time or refunded after 1 year of current monthly payments. Water and sewer deposits are $50.00 EACH if applicable. (For current account holders, there will be no additional deposit required.)
All charges for water and sewer service will be due and payable monthly on the date of mailing, and become delinquent on the sixteenth (16th) day thereafter. A late fee of $15.00 will be assessed on any accounts which become delinquent.
If accounts become sixteen (16) days past due, a termination notice is mailed out stating a specific dollar amount and date to pay by. The landlord/manager will be notified of the delinquent account regarding their properties.
