Treated Effluent Discharge Notice

The City of Molalla has received approvals from the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality to discharge treated effluent to the Molalla River.  The City is currently within its winter discharge timeframe, but river flows are below the 350 CFS seven-day average.  In order to maintain integrity of the lagoons, DEQ has allowed the City to discharge to the river until lagoon levels are at or below 10 feet.  The City will then stop discharge until the river's flow rates return to 350 CFS.
