Noxious Vegetation ClipArt

Molalla Municipal Code requires maintenance and/or removal of vegetation that poses a health and/or safety hazard. This includes vegetation obstructing walkways and roadways and clearing brush that could become a fire hazard during the dry season. To avoid Code Enforcement action from the City, please maintain vegetation so that:

  • Grass and weeds are cut below 6 inches in length
  • Roadways have 14+ feet of clearance and sidewalks have 8+ feet of clearance
  • Signs and other utilities are not obstructed
  • Blackberries do not extend onto a public way or neighboring property
  • Invasive plants are removed
  • Brush that could become a fire hazard is removed

For more information, please consult Chapter 8 of Molalla Municipal Code. Thank you for your support in keeping Molalla safe, clean, and walkable!
