Fire Hydrant Struck by Vehicle

During the evening of Sunday, February 9th, a vehicles struck a fire hydrant near the intersection of N. Molalla Avenue and Francis Street. Molalla Police, Fire District, and Molalla Public Works staff responded. Public Works crews flushed water mainlines for nearly 5 hours as a precautionary measure to ensure water system safety. If you encounter water discoloration, you can clear your house lines by flushing water through faucets to get rid of any remaining turbidity or color.
