City of Molalla is Enforcing Proper Use of Garage/Home Sale Signs (Molalla Municipal Code 18.32)

For any garage or home sale, one sign is allowed on the premises of the sale and three signs are allowed off-premises.  A-frame signs are allowed. Additionally, to be code compliant these signs must:

• Be placed outside of the public right of  way (streets, sidewalks, etc.).
• Not be affixed to trees, utility poles, or traffic control devices and signs.
• Be 6 square feet or less in size.
• Be 3 feet high or less.
• State the address of the event.
• Be placed after 8:00 a.m. on the first day of the sale and removed before 7:00pm on the last day.
• Not create a traffic hazard, impede pedestrian passage, or create a public nuisance.
