PUBLIC NOTICE: Planning Commission Roster Openings

Want to get involved in your community? Want to have a say in how the City grows? The City of Molalla is looking to fill multiple openings on the Planning Commission, and we invite you to apply!

What does the Planning Commission do?

The Planning Commision is responsible for making decision on certain land-use actions, and for upholding the standards of the development code, Comprehensive Plan and other community development documents during land use review. They render decisions based on evidence and criteria, and are responsible for maintaining quality in development decisions. The Planning Commission has a direct, long-term impact on the built-environment, and on how Molalla grows as a community.

Who can serve on the Planning Commission?

Planing Commissioners must:

- Be a U.S. citizen

- Be a resident of Molalla (exceptions cane be made: read here)

- Not triplicate occupations as compared to other sitting Commissioners

- Be available for at minimum one evening per month, typically the first Wednesday of each month
