Mayor Scott Keyser

Mayor Scott Keyser has lived in Molalla for five years with his wife Kelly and their kids.
The son of native Oregonians, his mother a housewife, and his father a reserve police officer and business owner, Scott has worked hard in the blue-collar sector all his life. He always emphasized during his campaign, “I am not a politician!”, lending to his belief in leading from among and not from above. He has lived, and still lives, a working man’s life which equips him to view issues from the eye of those most affected, the citizens.
The Mayor’s previous experience in serving the people of Molalla includes starting the online group Molalla Cares and participating in humanitarian efforts during the 2020 wildfires. He believes in a transparent local government and is, himself, very approachable. He supports and loves to work with local businesses and wants to see the City of Molalla continually become a better place to live.
