Councilor Leota Childress

Councilor Childress says she fell in love with Molalla the first time she drove through. Soon she made this her home. Her experience in management and finance is an asset in her position as Councilor. She is dedicated to the community and has a passion for revitalization and beautification of downtown Molalla. She is on the Project Management Team for the Molalla Area Community Visioning Project and is excited to see the community interest and involvement and looks forward to great things growing out of this effort.
Councilor Childress was appointed to Council in March 2016, elected to her first term in November 2018, and re-elected to a second term in November 2022.
