City Council Meeting

Council will hold this meeting in-person and through video Live-Streaming on the City's Facebook Page and YouTube Channel.

Written comments may be delivered to City Hall or emailed to recorder@cityofmolalla.com. Emailed submissions must be received by 12:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. Council will take verbal comments.  

At this meeting the First Reading of ORDINANCE NO. 2024-02: RECONCILIATION OF MOLALLA MUNICIPAL CODE AND PUBLIC WORKS STANDARDS FOR PERFORMANCE BOND MEASURES, will take place.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: On April 10, 2024, the Molalla City Council will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. to consider an amendment to the City’s Development Code that would change the required performance bond assurance for public improvements from 150 percent of the improvement cost to 120 percent of the improvement cost. A copy of the proposed ordinance will be available at City Hall by April 3, 2024. It is available for inspection at no cost and copies will be provided at a reasonable cost. 

You may attend, offer testimony, or seek information at the hearing. Any correspondence received in advance of the meeting will be forwarded to the hearing body. Written testimony will be received by the City of Molalla until the day of the hearing by noon and should be addressed or emailed to: City Recorder Christie Teets, PO Box 248, Molalla OR, 97038, recorder@cityofmolalla.com; note that email is preferred, and please ensure your name and address are included in the written testimony.

After the public hearing closes, the City will issue its decision. The decision will be mailed to the applicant and anyone else who submitted comments or is legally entitled to notice. Failure to raise an issue at the hearing, in person or by email/letter, or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the City Council an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to LUBA based on that issue.
