Pinochle players meet every Wednesday from 12:30 to 4:30. On the second and fourth Wednesdays, we only play from noon to 3:30 so we can make room for the City Council meeting. Bring a snack and join in! - FREE

On the second Tuesday of the month, members can watch a FREE movie after lunch.
The show starts at 1:00pm on the following dates.

May 12
Autumn in New York starring Richard Gere and Winona Ryder. A truly touching story about coping with a terminal illness as a young person in love. Holiday magic is in the air and the setting  highlights a traditional New York City winter wonderland.

June 9
The Quiet Man is an oldie but a goodie starring John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara. The first American feature to be filmed in Ireland’s picturesque countryside. It won two Oscars, including best Director, and celebrates one of Hollywood’s most romantic and enduring epics.

Writing Class

Learn how to create a family history for younger generations to see. This lively class is where you turn loquacious expurgatory utterances into simple poems, or receive sage council to help document your life. Participants often write about anything they want and often read their notes aloud to get feedback and suggestions.

Computers You Can Use

Members can use the two computers in our conference room. (Sorry, no Internet)

The Center offers a variety of  learning opportunities on computers. On Tuesdays and Thursdays Nina Record gives one-on-one instruction on how to use Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access.

Two one-hour sessions are available each day: Call the Center to make an appointment.
